Ingredients

Step One

Sift flour and sugar together into a bowl with a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl whisk together milk and egg, until combined. Add to dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.

Step Two

Heat a frypan over medium heat and brush with a little melted butter. Drop level tablespoons of the mixture into the pan and cook until bubbles appear on the surface.

Turn pikelets over and cook other side for 1 minute until golden.

Allow to cool. Serve with butter, honey and berries.
