Simple quiche Lorraine

Quiche lorraine is easy to make either as an after school snack or as a light summer dinner paired with some cut veggies or a simple salad


2 sheets ready rolled shortcrust pastry
1 tablespoon Devondale Salted Butter
½ cup Devondale Full Cream Milk
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon plain flour
200ml Devondale Long Life Thickened Cream
4 rashers bacon, rind removed, finely chopped
1 brown onion, finely chopped
1 cup shredded Devondale Colby Cheese


Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C. Lightly grease a fluted 3cm deep, 23cm (base) loose-base flan pan with melted Devondale butter.
