The Souva Jaffle

For a homemade souvlaki fix try out our souva jaffle.

Makes 4
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes


4 souvlaki wraps, folded in half and trimmed to fit jaffle maker 
4 Devondale Colby Cheese Slices 
300g cooked and sliced lamb souvlaki meat or roast lamb 
1/3 cup tzatziki dip
1 large tomato, sliced 
1/2 onion sliced, optional


1.  Top one side of each wrap with Devondale Colby Cheese Slices, then lamb, tzatziki, tomato and onion. Fold over wrap to enclose.

2. Place in a preheated jaffle maker, close lid and cook for 5 minutes or until bread is golden brown and crisp. Serve warm.


  • If souvlaki wraps are unavailable, substitute your favourite pita bread
